The production of this animation from version 0.8 to 1.0 was made possible by a challange grant from Mark Sims of NanoRex Inc. and the people who contributed to that challange.

Why develop a nanofactory? Do you see value in a medical cure for cancer and AIDS, or do you know someone with a spinal injury and reduced quality of life? A machine like this could produce medical instruments and therapeutic devices able to make these problems a thing of the past.
