Our Goal:

To create exactly what you need, to deliver on time and within budget.

The Process:

Communication is the key to a successful project. We ask that you follow these steps to provide the information we need and to protect both of us from wasting time and money.

Preliminary Discussions:

Without charge, before the project starts, we find out what you need done. We ask for preliminary documentation, we ask questions, and then we give you a condensed story or storyboard to describe what we think you want us to do. At this point, neither of us is at risk and you can decide if Lizard Fire looks right for the job. We will bid on the project based on the job description.

What we need from you before we can start actual construction:

• Written approval (email is fine) of the storyboard.
• One third down payment of the project cost
• Complete documentation.
• A written statement expressing the goal of the animation.

"Complete Documentation" means all the technical information necessary to produce the 3d models, such as fully dimensioned drawings, high resolution photos, CAD drawings and/or any written information that will be necessary. If you do not have the required documentation, I offer mechanical design services to produce those documents before we get started. This involves having you describe the device or product in detail sufficient to produce the plans or diagrams required to build it in 3d. If I see a design problem, I will either suggest a fix or take your solution and add it to the design. We can provide creative problem solving where desired.

"Written Statement" means a simple statement of what you want to communicate, what message to send, what audiance to target, what problem is solved, and any other information that would help us understand the project.

Payment Methods:

We accept Paypal, business checks and wire transfers.

Costs:

We bid one price for the entire project. That assumes nothing changes after we start the design. Small things can change, but we can not afford to work for hours or days and then find out a design change makes a significant amount of work unnecessary. It still has to be compensated.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and we will keep any sensitive information private. We have NDA's available and are willing to sign your own version. Nothing will be shared with a third party.

We may wish to use one of your final images on our site as part of our portfoilo - in that case we will ask for permission before we use it. We can link the image to your site.
